Our Process

Permanent - 14 Point Recruitment System

  1. Accept instructions from the client and assist in preparation of the job specification (as necessary).

  2. File search.

  3. Prepare and place the advertisement.

  4. Accept, vet and collate the response.

  5. Register applicants and obtain a declaration with respect to confidentiality, salary and any criminal convictions.

  6. Skill test (where applicable).

  7. Interview applicants in accordance with a structured style interview, covering the following points:

    • personal details, interests, extracurricular activities and conflicts of interest;

    • previous work history;

    • what they can offer an employer;

    • what they are looking for in a job.

  8. Shortlist the most suitable applicants.

  9. Reference check applicants covering the following points:

    • details of previous employment (e.g. position, earnings, reason for leaving, duties and responsibilities);

    • learning curve;

    • work habits;

    • level of management and /or supervision required;

    • personal problems (e.g. whether they have any problems that regularly interfere with their work, note however that the depth of this questioning depends on legislation current at the time);

    • punctuality and attendance;

    • time management;

    • interpersonal skills with colleagues, suppliers and clients;

    • grooming and presentation;

    • work limitations;

    • work strong points;

    • whether previous employers would re-hire.

  10. Prepare ‘interview friendly’ resumes and obtain authority to submit from applicant, in accordance with privacy provisions.

  11. Coordinate interviews between applicants and clients.

  12. Conduct further testing (where applicable).

  13. Debrief applicants following interviews and inform clients of their comments.

  14. Communicate offers of employment and thank unsuccessful applicants on the client's behalf.

Temporary - Reinforcements At The Ready

  1. Order Taking: We carefully research your requirements for skill levels, computer and office equipment knowledge, industry experience and expected duration of the assignment.

    This enables us to provide a temp whose skills and personality closely match those of your office environment.

  2. Selection: Using the information provided during the order taking phase, we then access our database and select temps who most closely match your requirements. All temps have been through the assessment process as outlined in the 14 point recruitment system shown above.

  3. Response: To keep you fully informed, a progress call is made to you within an hour of receiving your order, either confirming our temp's name or advising you of the current status of the search.

  4. Follow Up: We will contact you again to confirm our temp's arrival at your office and discuss their progress. In the case of a long term assignment, we will contact you weekly to ensure your continuing satisfaction. Our staff are also available to visit your site and the temp, to assist with supervision and performance issues.

    This enables us to maintain the control and flexibility required when providing top quality temporaries.
