SNAPSHOT OF WHAT YOUR NEW THE ROLE WILL ENTAIL
Full details will be provided in detail at the client interview but will include - Managing all contractual matters associated with suppliers and subcontractors including negotiation of their agreement; Assessing variations, progress claims and finalising accounts;
Managing the head contract including submission of delay and variation notifications according to the contract requirements, submission and finalising of variation claims and project cost control;
Coordinating the dispute resolutions process with the Subcontractors and Clients;
Performing planning and project control of various projects using Microsoft Project program;
Preparing progress reports for managers and stakeholders; Liaising with project team members, strong problem-solving attitude and ability to multi-task and priorities work effectively; some Project Management; attending to any and all issues as they arise.
WHO YOU'LL BE WORKING WITH
Reports to the Managing Director and working a small team.
VITAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE FOR THE ROLE
A degree in construction management is preferred, experience will be looked upon favourably though recent graduates will be considered.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE
Great written and verbal communication skills.
