Join a Master Painters & Dulux award winning Commercial Painting Co as their Painting Manager.
GENERAL FUNCTIONS & TASKS
Will be provided in detail at client interview but will include - Managing operational delivery, including ongoing job monitoring and reporting of all projects; seek to maximise profitability and exceed targeted goals by managing resources [between20 & 70 painters, mobile plant & equipment] and costs efficiently; Working closely with Finance to own and understand financial performance and forecasting at both a project and division level; Manage 6 direct reports [4 Team Leaders, 1 Project Leader & 1 Estimator], coaching and develop them so they possess the right skill sets to complete all works; Work with the in-house team and key a key member of the leadership team; Ensure all procedures are followed and updated to achieve maximum efficiency; Develop and maintain strong work relationship with clients, colleagues and suppliers; Ensure strong confirmation to WHS&E standards; Ensuring each project is complete within budget, on time and in accordance with contract requirements;
RELATIONSHIPS & AUTHORITY
Reports to the Managing Director
Has authority and responsibility for effective performance of the role
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
You will need to have experience with management/leadership and an understanding of Painting.
TECHNICAL SKILLS/SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE
Good Microsoft office skills essential.
