JOB/DUTY DESCRIPTION: Your mission, if you accept - is to work alongside the CEO developing and implementing marketing policy and ensuring the organisation achieves sales targets with maximum profitability; preparing national sales targets and budgets, and accounts for variances in results both in broking and claims; recruits, controls, directs staff; supervises allocations of sales force to groups and directs their training and motivational development; conducts performance assessments of the sales personnel [encompassing implementation of incentive schemes]; participates in sales forecasts and feasibility; stepping into the sales cycle as appropriate to assist with agreement signing.
PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE: Sales management and team management in general insurance broking is essential.
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS: Good standard of education - Tier 1 essential
SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE: Solid computer knowledge/skills are essential.
SKILLS REQUIRED: Good oral and written communication skills.
HOURS: Available to work whatever hours are required to achieve growth objectives [both in WA and Nationally]. Available to travel whenever required.
