Claims Broker focusing on SME - Western Suburbs, stable firm.
GENERAL FUNCTIONS & TASKS
Will be provided in detail at client interview but will include - to ensure timely and favourable settlement of claims; keeping clients informed of status of claims in a timely manner; liaise with underwriters,, assessors, legal advisers to achievement settlement; ensure compliance with all relevant statutory and industry requirement plus codes; using claim settlement as a marketing tool; develop and maintain an appropriate knowledge of insurance; keep management and others informed appropriately as required about work; lead, motivate, counsel and assist with staff development; us personal effectiveness techniques at a level appropriate to the position; any and all other duties.
RELATIONSHIPS & AUTHORITY
Reports to Management.
Has authority and responsibility for efficient, detailed and friendly performance of duties.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
You will need to have recent experience with commercial claims.
TECHNICAL SKILLS/SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE
Experience with broking software is essential.
