Full details will be provided in detail at the client interview but will include – to ensure timely and favourable settlement of claims; keeping clients informed of status of claims in a timely manner; liaise with underwriters, assessors, legal advisers to achieve settlement; ensure compliance with all relevant statutory and industry codes; using claim settlement as a marketing tool; develop and maintain an appropriate knowledge of insurance; keep management and others informed appropriately as required about work; lead, motivate, counsel and assist with staff development; use personal effectiveness techniques at a level appropriate to the position; any and all other duties.
WHO YOU’LL BE WORKING WITH
Reports to the Claims Manager and works with friendly efficient team.
VITAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE FOR THE ROLE
You will need to have some exposure to motor [both heavy & light], property [including Landlord & Farm], liability, marine transit & travel.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE
Great written and verbal communication skills, plus intermediate Microsoft office knowledge
