Landscape Supervisor Role that is completely different.
GENERAL FUNCTIONS & TASKS
Will be provided in detail at client interview but will include - Perform site Inspections prior to the construction hardscaping commencement and ensure all paperwork including variation to contracts are signed.
Co-ordinate all contract requirements and communicate these and job expectations to staff and sub-contractors [ie plumbers, electricians etc].
Carry out regular site inspections with direct onsite supervision of staff and sub-contractors by selecting and evaluating them as well as monitoring and controlling their performance.
Ensure effective measures are in place to deliver exceptional customer service, resolve complaints and accomplish deadlines. This includes but is not limited to:
Introducing yourself to customers at the outset and providing them with all your details;
Keeping customers informed and up to date on progress;
Informing customers of necessary or recommended services and products;
Completing Variation Orders once additional services and products requested and agreed to;
Addressing customer complaints (adhoc and allocated) on a daily basis until issues are resolved and the contract is completed.
Following up on ancillary work and supervise through to completion and ensuring payments received. Ensure works carried out are cost effective, efficient and prevent unnecessary wastage.
Work with the Operations Manager to implement waste reduction initiatives and strategies, consistent with agreed targets. Apply knowledge, skills, tools, and other management techniques against installation activities to meet installation requirements.
Prevent interruptions and fines by enforcing and fulfilling industry and Local Area codes.
Assist with the co-ordination and delivery of materials, plant and equipment. Enhances organisation reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Update technical and industry knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging construction practices and standards. Participate in educational opportunities; read professional publications; maintain professional networks; and participate in professional organisational events.
Provide assistance and support to Customer Liaison Officers (CLO's) to answer and resolve enquires or complaints. Assist employees and contractors tasks as required, answer and resolve enquires, concerns or complaints.
Aid the Resolutions Officer with debt collection as required.
Carry out service work and handovers as required. Assist Operations with the preparation of site safety management plans for review and approval of the HSEQ Manager.
Conduct primary assessment of subcontractor's ability to comply with OHS requirements.
Conduct or assist with toolbox meetings. Participate in on-site safety meetings.
Action and close out any findings identified via: safety audits, inspections and consultations in accordance with reporting requirements, in agreed timeframes and under the guidance of the HSEQ Manager

Reports to the Operations Manager
Has authority and responsibility for competent, friendly & effective performance of the role.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
You will need to have recent hardscaping & landscaping experience at a Supervisor level.
