ROLE

Vibrant, sociable, proactive 'going places' broking firm needs a claims broker or assistant broker to help with claims - some prospects of permanency as an Assistant Account Executive.

GENERAL FUNCTIONS & TASKS

Will be provided in detail at client interview but will include -

To assistant with managing claims for a medium sized broking firm - commercial, SME and domestic claims; ensuring timely settlement of claims; prepare, process and monitor client claims; liaison with underwriters, assessors, legal advisors and clients to achieve settlement of claims; keeping clients informed on the progress of claims; ensure compliance with all relevant statutory and industry requirements and codes; develop and maintain an appropriate knowledge of insurance; keeping management and others informed appropriately about your work; any and all other duties.

RELATIONSHIPS & AUTHORITY

Reports to the Office Manager
Has authority and responsibility for claims management

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

You will need to have experience as an assistant account executive in a broking firm, or as a claims officer or claims assistant in either an underwriter or broking firm.

TECHNICAL SKILLS/SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE

Claims experience, good hands on experience with processing, good knowledge of Microsoft office are all essential.
