Successful boutique commercial building company has unique opportunity for someone with estimating or scheduling experience in either residential or commercial construction to step up and run the department.
GENERAL FUNCTIONS & TASKS
Will be provided in detail at client interview but will include - Working closely with the project management team. You will be responsible for coordinating the measurement, pricing and comparative analysis for assigned projects as well as ensuring estimate plans will be within the budget requirements. There is an opportunity to progress this role towards a Contacts Administrator position.
RELATIONSHIPS & AUTHORITY
Reports to the Construction Manager and Managing Director
Has authority and responsibility for the accurate, timely and efficient completion of duties.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
You will need to have some recent commercial or residential estimating and/or scheduling experience with a proven track record of winning and successfully managing projects. Must be confident in taking jobs from estimating through to contract's administration
TECHNICAL SKILLS/SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE
Previous experience using MS Project, Excel, Word essential. Planswift experience looked upon favourably. Strong written and verbal communication skills and extensive experience in negotiation with potential clients and sub-contractors within the Perth market.
