GENERAL FUNCTIONS & TASKS
Will be provided in detail at client interview but will include - In conjunction with the Operations Manager - Management of administration, operations, estimating, scheduling, compliance and drafting departments; input into continual improvement and restructuring of office systems and procedures especially job tracking and departmental reporting ensuring ongoing reduction of time spent in pre-construction and increased site starts; adaptation of systems for increased work flow; training and mentoring managers and staff to efficiently manage workload; involvement with new product development; assisting with management of Managers including performance and KPI management; budgets and financial management of construction department in conjunction with CFO, CEO & MD; participation in the Executive Management Team; business planning and forecasting; extensive site supervision.
RELATIONSHIPS & AUTHORITY
Reports to CFO, CEO & MD
Has authority and responsibility for the friendly, on time and efficient performance of duties plus continual profitability of the business.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
You will need to have experience as a Construction Manager either in residential or hardscaping.
TECHNICAL SKILLS/SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE
Advanced hands on Microsoft and business management software experience.
