Full details will be provided in detail at the client interview but will include – Ensure timely and favourable settlement of claims; prepare, process and monitor clients' claims; liaise with underwriters, assessors, legal advisers and clients to achieve settlement of claims; keep clients appropriately informed on the progress of claims; ensure compliance with all relevant statutory and industry requirements and codes; use claims settlements as a marketing tool; develop and maintain an appropriate knowledge of the insurance; keep management and others informed appropriately and as required about your work; lead, motivate, counsel and develop staff; use personal effectiveness techniques at a level appropriate to the position; any and all other duties as required.
WHO YOU’LL BE WORKING WITH
Reports to the Managing Director and Senior Account Managers.
VITAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE FOR THE ROLE
You will need to have experience with general insurance claims
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Winbeat preferred; Microsoft office suite experience essential.
