Full details will be provided in detail at the client interview but will include – To underwrite various classes of commercial insurance whilst adhering to underwriting guidelines; Provide professional services to brokers & direct clients; Maintaining and growing an existing portfolio; Underwrite risks within authority levels; Responsible for enquiries; Alterations to clients insurance; provide advice and policy interpretation to internal & external stakeholders; At times processing of new business and renewals; Maintenance of the follow up system; Attending business development events; assisting other team members; attend and contribute to team meetings. Any and all other duties.
WHO YOU’LL BE WORKING WITH
Reports to Business Development Team Leader, Underwriting Manager and Executive plus works with a diverse team.
VITAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE FOR THE ROLE
You will need to have 12 months or more general experience, plus be comfortable undertaking Tier 1 for GI if you don't already have it.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE
High written and verbal communication skills plus sound computer literacy with Word, Excel & Outlook.
