GENERAL FUNCTIONS & TASKS
Will be provided in detail at client interview but will include -accounts payable; accounts receivable; adjusting transactions and reconciliations; summarising cash positions; petty cash; payroll; assists in the preparation of financial reports such as Profit & Loss and Trial Balance; prepares Business Activity Statements for external review; general admin; any and all other duties pertaining to the role of a Bookkeeper - Assistant Accountant
RELATIONSHIPS & AUTHORITY
Reports to the Chief Operating Officer and CEO.
Has authority and responsibility for accurate, timely and friendly performance of role.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
You will need to have recent current experience as an Assistant Accountant and/or bookkeeper.
TECHNICAL SKILLS/SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE
Current experience with Xero, plus intermediate excel skills is essential. Experience with CMS looked upon favourably. Exceptional written and oral communications skills
An accounting tertiary qualification looked upon favourably but not essential.
