Accounts role within a robust friendly building company. Role will encompass AR and preparing payroll data, being the right hand to the Company Accountant. Extensive opportunities for growth.
GENERAL FUNCTIONS & TASKS
Will be provided in detail at client interview but will include - Debtor management which will consist primarily of chasing progress payments from financiers and clients; Reconciling of accounts; Daily banking and assisting with bank reconciliations; Preparing payroll data for external payroll processing, checking of reports, updating of information; assisting with some month end duties; relief of other accounting staff as required; any and all other duties.
RELATIONSHIPS & AUTHORITY
Reports to Company Accountant
Has authority and responsibility for accurate and timely completion of duties.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
A recent graduate or a bit of experience. Experience with building or construction looked upon favourably.
TECHNICAL SKILLS/SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE
Good excel essential.
