GENERAL FUNCTIONS & TASKS
Accounts management; Preparation of all weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting to head office; Preparation and maintenance of all yearly and quarterly budgets and forecasts; Reconciling sales figures across various systems and reports (CBS, IMER, Sales & Settlements Reports, etc.); Cash management and cash flow forecasting; Provide technical assistance and support to accounts team in performing their tasks; Assisting the Executive and Senior Management team in the implementation of strategy and processes; Provide assistance to managers in order to effectively run their departments; Liaising and dealing with auditors and relevant government and compliance agencie, where applicable; Preparation of quarterly investor reports; Supporting General Manager Finance with ad-hoc tasks, as required; Processing of AP & AR functions; Processing company credit cards; Payroll and contracts preparation; Prepare and calculate payroll and sales commissions; Prepare and process Payroll Tax, IAS, BAS and superannuation; Trust accounting - maintaining sales and interest bearing trust accounts; Liaison with Conveyancers regarding settlements and commissions; Provide leave cover for Project Accountant, Assistant Accountant and Contracts Manager, where required. RELATIONSHIPS & AUTHORITY
Reports to General Manager and Head Office accounting team
Has authority and responsibility for efficient and friendly performance of duties.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
You will need to have an accounting degree and preferably experience in property.
TECHNICAL SKILLS/SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE
Navision experience looked upon favourably.
