Key Responsibilities
 
  • Working closely within the division that designs, constructs and operates custom built water utility systems & services.
  • Involved in projects from Tender stage to Deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain project control procedures, focusing on cost control and forecasting.
  • Convert project estimates into control budgets and work breakdown structures within our ERP
  • Monitor costs, identify overruns or savings opportunities, and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
  • Support invoicing and cashflow processes, including tracking and resolving discrepancies.
  • Deliver accurate weekly and monthly project cost reports, including productivity and cashflow analysis.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure contractual and reporting requirements are met.
  • Scheduling.
  • Project performance analysis.
  • Project finance reporting.
  • Involved in projects from Tender stage to deliverables.

Who you will be working with -
 
  • Working closely with the Construction Manager, Project Managers, and Finance team, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

Vital qualifications and experience -  
 
  • A tertiary qualification relevant to the role.
 
  • 2–3 years' experience in Contract Administration, project controls, cost control plus some project financial management within construction, engineering, or fabrication industries.

Essential skills & software knowledge
 
  • Strong commercial understanding of contractual obligations.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication and analytical abilities with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

This role will be located in the southern suburbs office.  They are a publicly listed vertically integrated water services and infrastructure provider with a West Perth Head Office.
