Join small boutique firm in the northern suburbs - one on one to an 'easy going' friendly director.
Will be provided in detail at client interview but will include - Will be provided by client at interview; but generally to assist with ensuring that the correct insurance needs of a portfolio of clients are fully met to the satisfaction of the clients; acquire and collate information from clients on their insurance needs; help present recommendations and options to clients and to agree and receive instructions on their implementation; prepare quotation and placing slips for insurers or lodging over broker/insurer software; help to contribute as required to the acquisition of new business; administrative support to other members of the team as required; invoice clients and ensure collection of premiums; prepare insurance manuals and insurance schedules for clients; record and document changes in clients' insurance cover as they occur; respond to enquiries and requests for action from clients' insurance claims; keep clients appropriately informed about matters related to their insurance; ensure compliance with all relevant statutory and industry requirements and codes; maintain record systems as required; acquire knowledge of the industry and market; keep management and colleagues appropriately informed about his/her work; use personal effectiveness techniques at a level appropriate to the position; any and all other duties as required. Tier 2 essential, Tier 1 preferred.
ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE - 497
Centrally located firm / stable / SME book with extensive variety.
Will be provided in detail at client interview but will include - Managing existing client relationships - preparing and executing policy documents in accordance with client instructions; negotiating terms with underwriters on behalf of clients; keeping clients informed of all matters related to their insurance; liaising with the claims department on all claims issues. Grow the business from existing clients sand follow up on new client referrals - following up on all referrals; reviewing policies to support changes in the client's business; reviewing policies to support changes in the client's business; asking for referrals; preparing and presenting premium funding options. Contribute to firm's culture of team work - responding positively to requests for assistance; offering to help others beyond the normal scope of work; training new staff members in processes. Credit Control - collecting outstanding debts; ensuring accounts are maintained within credit terms; approving allocation of payments to underwriters. Ensuring firm procedures and policies are followed - following company guidelines and referring to the procedures; checking all policy documents against company documents; behaving in accordance with industry codes; maintaining accurate records. Any and all other duties.
Contribute to business growth objectives of the Broking Firm by managing a select group of clients via the online portal. This includes both front and backend responsibilities within the portal.
Respond to enquiries and requests for action from clients and manger; Prepare each client group in readiness for online renewal processing and attending to calls from clients seeking assistance. This includes gathering underwriting information from underwriters; Providing and following up on quotations obtained via the portal and not proceeded; Processing of endorsements/amendments manually; Providing claims support as required; Providing assistance with the collection of premiums on outstanding debts; Attending to enquiries; Assist with office administration duties when necessary
