GENERAL FUNCTIONS & TASKS
Will be provided in detail at client interview but will include -
Costing materials, labour and equipment for projects and facilities maintenance; assists in the preparation of tenders and questions; prepare fully detailed estimates and participate in tender negotiations; assisting with negotiating supplier contracts; monitoring variations to contracts; liaison with suppliers; liaison with clients; liaison with overseas estimating BOQ service; sales development; any and everything else necessary.
RELATIONSHIPS & AUTHORITY
Reports to the Senior Management Team.
Has authority and responsibility for accurate on time sales estimating.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
You will need to have a good standard of education. Experience in an administrative and/or estimating role within the building and or fitout industry is preferred Trade experience looked upon favourably.
TECHNICAL SKILLS/SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE
Exposure to Microsoft Project & PlanSwift preferred. High attention to detail, good math, good excel is essential.
