Will be provided in detail at client interview but will include - Hands on Contract Management. Reviewing, approving variations and progrss claims for projects; communicating with clients, subcontractors and the team. Ensuring accurate job coding and invoice processing in line with the scope of works including tracking and reporting of project expenditure. Working with the construction department andmanagement in regarding all components of contract management. Preparation of monthly forecasts for costs to completion. Ongoing reviewing & negotiating of Subcontracts. Ensuring document flow to and from all internal & external stakeholders. Interpretation of drawings and specifications. Estimating for tenders, including quantity off-takes, costings, variations, and qualitative criteria. Assist with scheduling labour, subcontractors, and materials ensuring works are carried out on time and on budget. Any and all other duties as directed by the Construction Manager.
RELATIONSHIPS & AUTHORITY
Reports to Senior Management.
Has authority and responsibility for efficient friendly accurate performance of the role.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
You will need to have:-
Contract Management/Project Management skills, [from construction, developers or builders].Understanding of Construction Site works.
An understanding of contract law is imperative.
TECHNICAL SKILLS/SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent computer skills together with high levels across Microsoft suite of software.
